Changing a NIC on a Local License Server or Client

  1. Return all licenses on the software/device back to the GE licensing server

  2. Close the licensing software

  3. Change the NIC

  4. Reopen licensing software

  5. Clean the licensing software (license client: Advanced tab, option 2) (local license server administration tool (local license server: Server Operations tab, option 3)

  6. The device ID should change at this point; relicense your local license server and/or license client(s)
