Historian 2.0 - Supported on Windows NT v4.0 operating system with Service Pack 6 or later installed, Windows 2000 Professional operating system with Service Pack 2 or later or Windows XP Pro for iHistorian Servers and Data Collectors.

Historian 3.0 - Supported on Windows NT v4.0 with Service Pack 6 or later installed, Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 2 or later, Windows XP Pro, or Windows Server 2003.

Historian 3.1 - Supported on Windows NT v4.0 with Service Pack 6 or later installed, Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 2 or later, Windows XP Pro, or Windows Server 2003.

Historian 3.5 - Supported on 32-bit versions of Windows XP Professional SP3, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Vista SP1 (Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions), or Windows Server 2008 SP1. Supported on 64-bit versions of Windows 2008 Server SP1 or Windows Vista SP1.
NOTE: Historian 3.5 works as a 32-bit application on 64-bit Windows operating systems using WoW64 mode (Windows-on-Windows 64-bit).

Historian 4.0 - Supported on Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Server 2003 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows 7 Professional (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Vista Professional (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows XP Professional SP3 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows XP Embedded (32-bit)
NOTE: Historian 4.0 Collectors, Client tools, APIs, Non-Web Administrator, and Web Administrator work as 32-bit application on 64-bit Windows operating systems using WoW64 mode (Windows-on-Windows 64-bit). However, you can read and write data from a 64-bit Historian Server.
IMPORTANT: iFIX 5.0 SP2 or 5.1 is only supported when Historian 4.0 is installed remotely (that is, not on the same machine where iFIX 5.0 SP2 or 5.1 is installed). If you want to use Historian 4.0 with iFIX on a same machine, then you must use iFIX 5.1 SP1 or later.

Historian 4.5 - Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Server 2003 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows 7 Professional (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Vista Professional (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows XP Professional SP3 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows XP Embedded (32-bit)
NOTE: Historian 4.5 32-bit components such as Collectors, Excel Add-in 32-bit, Interactive SQL 32-bit, APIs, Non-Web Administrator, and Web Administrator work as 32-bit application on 64-bit Windows operating systems using WoW64 mode (Windows-on-Windows 64-bit). However, you can read and write data from a 64-bit Historian Server.
IMPORTANT: iFIX 5.0 SP2 or 5.1 is only supported when Historian 4.5 is installed remotely (that is, not on the same machine where iFIX 5.0 SP2 or 5.1 is installed). If you want to use Historian 4.5 with iFIX on a same machine, then you must use iFIX 5.1 SP1 or later.
