Scenarios:
Broken Device State, Changed Computer Name, Changed Mac Address, Cloned Machine
These scenarios require a clean Uninstall Re Install to restore functionality. This will create New Storage Container and Device ID.
Procedure:
Return Licenses if possible. If not, Automatech can recover them for you.
Uninstall the Licensing Software.
Delete these folders…
found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Proficy : Proficy License Server
and found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Proficy\Proficy Common : Proficy Common Licensing.
Reboot the PC.
Check the Hidden Folder in C:\ProgramData\FNEServer and see if there are any files there. If So, delete them.
Install the latest version of the Licenses software that is applicable to your OS.
