Lease Expiration Date
Lease Expiration Date
Why am I getting a lease expiration date when my license is permanent?
When using a Local License Server and Client, the License Client will lease the license from the Local License Server. The lease time is generated in your Local License Server settings and can range between 7 and 54 days. If your Local License Server machine were to crash or turn off, the lease would count down until the lease expiration date and be ripped off the computer and brought back to the Local License Server. If working correctly, that date will update one day tommorow.
In short, you activate the license on the Local License Server permanently (no expiration date) . The License Client will then lease the license from the Local License Server.
