Final Resolution
Solution Source: GE Knowledge Base Article 000070653 (Case 01151042)
Backup:
Took a backup of the RegisteredPlugins.json file located on the Configuration Hub system at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Proficy\ConfigurationHub
Modification:
Edited the file and set "useConfigHubAuthentication" to true for the Historian Plug-In.
Must use Notepad++ or other text editing tool like Notepad opened as Administrator.
Service Restart:
Restarted the following five (5) services:
GE Proficy Configuration Hub Admin Service
GE Proficy Configuration Hub Central Service
GE Proficy Configuration Hub CLS Admin Service
GE Proficy Configuration Hub Container Service
GE Proficy Configuration Hub Httpd Service
Verification:
Logged into Configuration Hub.
Historian appeared successfully in Configuration Hub.
Registration was completed without errors.
Conclusion
By modifying the RegisteredPlugins.json file and restarting the necessary services, Configuration Hub successfully recognized Historian, resolving the issue. This process ensures proper integration of Historian 2024 after the SIM 1 update.
