Trouble Shooting Historical Tag Count

Consuming the Tags is an odd expression. Any client connecting to Historian is and can be Consuming the tags just by looking at them.  The Tags are configured in Historian.  

You can see when the tags were added and what User Created the Tags by checking the Historian Messages  and looking at  the Audit Messages.

You can look the Tags assigned to a particular Collector and see if you have too many tags for what you think that collector should be logging.

If Mystery tags are being added and they are  iFix Tags ,  then you need to look in the iFix Database and see if they are   accidently adding tags to the Historian.  If they are using  FixToHist and they imported a database CSV file into iFix and the Field of Historian is Enabled ,  then it Added that tag to Historian.
