Clean Uninstall Re Install / Broken Device State/ Changed Computer Name / Changed Mac Address / Changed NIC Card/ Cloned Machine /

Scenarios:

Broken Device State, Changed Computer Name, Changed Mac Address, Cloned Machine

 

These scenarios require a clean Uninstall / Re Install to restore functionality. This will create New Storage Container and Device ID.


Procedure:

  1. Return Licenses if possible. If not, Automatech can recover them for you.

 

  1. Uninstall the Licensing Software.

 

  1. Delete these folders…

found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Proficy : Proficy License Server

and found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Proficy\Proficy Common : Proficy Common Licensing.

 

  1. Reboot the PC.


5. Install the latest version of the Licenses software that is applicable to your OS.
