iFIX DLL fails on install

Cause

• Target machine has newer Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables installed from an Office 2016 install.

Resolution

• Browse the 5.9 DVD and go to the Setup\ISSetupPrerequisites\{47C4119B-3ADD-4803-B278-9ABA39415D83} folder.

• Run the vc_redist.x86 installer.

• Browse the 5.9 DVD and go to the Setup\ISSetupPrerequisites\{D093EE4D-527D-4CC7-AB3C-DCE3219FA508} folder.

• Run the vc_redist.x64 installer.

• Run the 5.9 install front end and install iFIX 5.9 error free.
