iFIX 6.5 Startup Crash

Issue: When starting iFIX 6.5 with IGS added as a driver in the SCU, the iFIX startup process crashes and iFIX does not run nor will Workspace open.

Resolution: All Windows users are required to be in the Create Global Objects security permission group using Windows Local Security Policy found in the Windows Administrative Tools program group. Be advised that the Administrators user group will already be assigned to this security group, however this is not sufficient; each individual Windows user will need to be added to Create Global Objects security group to run iFIX.
