How do I transfer my security configuration from one node to another?

Exporting the Security Report file located in the Security Configuration section of your iFIX project.

1. Locate your SCU and the Security Configuration window

a. Run command > SCU.EXE
b. Home ribbon of the workspace > Applications > SCU > Configuration > Security
c. Windows > iFIX > System Configuration > Security

1. Once there, go to File, then Export, this will make a Nodename.RPT file to export. Find a safe save location.

• It is important to note that the passwords for the accounts being exported will not transfer over, the passwords will need to be manually entered with each account once it has reached the desired node.

1. The next step is to transfer the file to the current node and instead of exporting the file, import the file. It will open up a file explorer window to locate the Nodename.RPT file needed.

1. Once it is successfully imported, the next step will be to add the passwords into each account.
